About Us
CJS Translation Services is a women-owned agency dedicated to bridging language gaps, particularly in healthcare and legal settings. Our team includes over 75 qualified interpreters, and we offer access to more than 300 languages through in-person, video, and over-the-phone interpretation. Our certified professionals hold nationally recognized credentials such as ATA, CCHI, NBCMI, and Kansas Court Certification. In addition to our services, we offer an accredited, hands-on 40-hour Medical Interpreting course designed to train and develop the next generation of skilled language professionals.
Our mission is to go beyond translation — we interpret meaning, culture, and context. As your one-stop shop for all languages, we’re committed to delivering accurate, reliable, and culturally competent language services. If we don’t have the language you need, we’ll find it for you.
CJS: What It Means
CJS represents the initials of Cesar, Judilena, and Sebastian — the names of the founder’s children. The name reflects the personal foundation and identity behind the company, symbolizing a legacy of purpose, responsibility, and long-term commitment to excellence.
Cesar
Cesar is a student at Wichita State University majoring in IT and Management Information Systems. He contributes to CJS Translation Services through strategic planning, operational support, and the development of the company website. Outside of CJS, he is a photographer and entrepreneur, specializing in portrait and creative content. Cesar is also a proud recipient of the HSF, Evergy, and Wichita Foundation Scholarships, recognized for his academic excellence and dedication to community impact.
Judilena
Judilena is a high-achieving student involved in multiple extracurriculars. She is a member of the Chamber Orchestra—the highest-level ensemble at her school—and performs on the varsity dance team. She also participates in Wichita State University’s Upward Bound Wichita Prep Program, where she continues to develop her academic and leadership skills. At CJS , Judilena manages social media content, bringing creativity and consistency to the company’s online presence.

Sebastian may be the youngest member of the family, but he brings endless energy and joy to the CJS team. His positivity keeps us grounded and reminds us to face every challenge with optimism and resilience. He represents the spirit of growth, curiosity, and the future we’re building toward.

The Force Behind CJS
With over 10 years of interpreter experience, Marixendra Alvarez brings deep industry insight and a commitment to language access. Currently completing a degree at Brigham Young University, her background spans start-ups, finance, and business management. She leads CJS Translation Services with a clear vision and a passion for building meaningful, client-focused solutions.
